What should a manufacturing health supplement company do to obtain its factory licence in Singapore?
The company knew what products that they are manufacturing. They took one year to get the factory ready for inspection by relevant legislative authority in Singapore.
The Chief Executive together with their QA manager, Factory manager and Marketing & Operations manager met up with our team. The project team of five members started to work on obtaining various licences, namely factory licence, manufacturing licence, GMP and HACCP licence. The project required six months of data of process engineering, on-the-job training, internal audit and management review. We deploying a few management techniques and tools to get them up and running.
With all these licensing requirements, the company is currently fully obtained them and able to export the health supplements worldwide. The management team and Financial controller was satisfied to have the return of capital employed (ROCE) within two years.
Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia are their core market base.
