In 2018 SFA was set-up for Food and Health control measure. HACCP 590 is currently for fresh food retailing at shops, restaurants and cut-fruit stalls.
The client initiated a new strategy to sell fresh cut fruits in vending machines. The owner bought six (6) vending to test the market. The company bought fresh fruits directly from Malaysia, Sarawak, Philippines, China, India and seasonal fruits from South East Asia.
The owner approached us after he received referrer from his business contacts. After a few rounds of discussion he decided to engage our service. His vending machines were in the warehouse for 5 months though he has 3 retail outlets and one rented industrial premised for producing cut-fresh fruits for vending machines.
We worked closely with certification body to obtain HACCP 590 standard version by SFA. In Singapore, the certification need to register with Enterprise Singapore. Finally, we achieved HACCP 590 in the shortest possible time.
As of year 2023, a total of 23 vending machines installed in Singapore. The owner further added products, namely fresh milks and fresh fruit juices. The revenues and profits increase a few folds.
This is a legislative requirement to obtain HACCP 590 standard.
